NCT ID NCT06115603

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This Phase 2 trial tests whether a single dose of cannabigerol (CBG), a non-psychoactive cannabis compound, can improve attention and reduce hyperactivity in adults with ADHD. 76 participants will receive either 80mg of CBG or a placebo, then complete computer and paper tasks measuring focus, memory, and decision-making. The study aims to see if CBG offers a new way to ease ADHD symptoms.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a new, non-stimulant option for easing ADHD symptoms like inattention and impulsivity.
