Could hemp oil ease Chemo's painful side effects?
NCT ID NCT07016971
Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing if a commercially available hemp oil containing CBG and CBD is safe and might help reduce symptoms of nerve damage caused by chemotherapy. It will involve 12 adults who have finished platinum-based chemo for gastrointestinal cancers and still have nerve pain, numbness, or weakness. Participants will take the oil under the tongue twice daily for 12 weeks while researchers check for side effects and any changes in their symptoms.
