First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking cannabidiol (CBD) every night for 4 weeks can improve sleep quality and reduce alcohol cravings and drinking in adults who sleep poorly and drink heavily. About 58 participants will take either CBD or a placebo, wear activity monitors, and complete sleep tests and weekly check-ins. The goal is to see if CBD is safe and effective for easing sleep problems and alcohol misuse.
