CBD shows promise for better sleep and less drinking in new study

Summary

This study tests whether taking cannabidiol (CBD) every night for 4 weeks can improve sleep quality and reduce alcohol cravings and drinking. About 58 adults with poor sleep and risky alcohol use will take either CBD or a placebo. Participants wear an activity watch, complete sleep tests, and check in weekly with researchers.
