Could CBD help people with HIV understand their feelings?
NCT ID NCT05832281
Summary
This study tested whether a 4-week course of cannabidiol (CBD) could help people living with HIV who have difficulty identifying their own emotions, a condition called alexithymia. Researchers compared CBD to a placebo (inactive substance) in a small group to see if it improved emotional awareness and reduced body inflammation. The goal was to see if easing this emotional difficulty could lead to better overall health outcomes.
