CBD tested as shield against Chemo's numbing side effect
NCT ID NCT07167446
Summary
This early-stage study is exploring whether taking CBD capsules can help prevent nerve damage (neuropathy) caused by a common chemotherapy drug called oxaliplatin. The trial will involve 30 people with colorectal cancer who are scheduled to receive oxaliplatin treatment. Participants will be randomly assigned to take CBD along with their standard chemo or to receive standard chemo alone to see if CBD makes a difference.
