Summary
This study tests a new, non-invasive radiation treatment against the standard catheter procedure for ventricular tachycardia, a dangerous fast heartbeat. About 244 adults with heart failure and an implanted defibrillator will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which approach better prevents death, shocks from the defibrillator, and further heart rhythm problems.
