NCT ID NCT04188912
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study followed 267 adults who had stem cell transplants to understand why some develop chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a long-term complication. Researchers collected blood, saliva, and eye fluid samples and performed exams to track early signs. The goal was to learn how to predict and catch GVHD sooner, not to test a new treatment.
