NCT ID NCT07407049

First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to perform cataract surgery: one that breaks up the lens inside the lens capsule and one that does it above the capsule. The goal is to see which method helps patients see clearly sooner after surgery. About 128 adults aged 50 to 90 with dense cataracts will take part. Researchers will measure vision, eye health, and complications for up to three months after the procedure.
