Eye implant color linked to better sleep?
NCT ID NCT02304900
Summary
This study investigated whether the color of the artificial lens implanted during cataract surgery affects a patient's sleep. Researchers compared yellow-tinted lenses, which filter more blue light, to standard white lenses in 400 patients aged 60-90. They measured changes in sleep time, sleep quality, and mood two months after surgery to see if filtering blue light made a difference.
