Could cash payments be the key to better health for moms with HIV?

NCT ID NCT07226492

Summary

This study is testing if giving monthly cash payments to pregnant women with HIV in Botswana helps them manage their health better. It aims to see if the money reduces stress, helps them take their HIV medication consistently, and keeps them in medical care after giving birth. The study will enroll 100 women to compare those who receive the payments with those who receive standard care.
