Cartoons and foot rubs: a soothing combo for kids after surgery?

NCT ID NCT07151131

Summary

This study aims to see if two simple, drug-free methods—watching cartoons and receiving foot reflexology (a type of massage)—can help children feel less pain, nausea, and anxiety after an operation. It will involve 105 children between 4 and 6 years old who are having planned surgery. Researchers will measure their anxiety, pain, and nausea levels to compare the effects of these comforting techniques.
