Tape vs. mud: new study tests alternative therapies for wrist pain
NCT ID NCT06977321
Summary
This study is comparing two non-surgical treatments for mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) against standard home exercises. Researchers want to see if adding either kinesiotaping (a special elastic tape) or peloidotherapy (therapeutic mud packs) to a home exercise program works better for reducing pain and improving hand function. They will measure pain levels, hand strength, and nerve health in 90 participants over three months.
