First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 27, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a caregiver training program combined with a visual mapping app can improve quality of life for people with Alzheimer's or dementia and reduce stress for their caregivers. Fifty patient-caregiver pairs will be split into two groups: one using the app alone, the other using the app plus the training program. The study lasts 6 months and measures changes in behavior, daily living skills, and caregiver burden.
