Home device aims to ease the heavy load for dementia caregivers
NCT ID NCT04308512
Summary
This study tested a home device called Care4AD (Nili) designed to help people caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's or dementia. For three months, caregivers used either a basic or an enhanced version of the device to help coordinate daily care tasks, share photos, play music, and manage schedules. Researchers measured whether using the device reduced caregiver stress and burden while improving how they managed care.
