First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new phone-based therapy called CARE (Cancer and Aging: Reflections for Elders) to help older adults with cancer who feel depressed or distressed. About 459 participants aged 70 and older will receive either CARE or standard supportive counseling over the phone. Researchers will compare which approach better reduces anxiety and depression.
