First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will check heart disease risk scores in 238 adults with type 2 diabetes who are 40 or older. Researchers want to see if simple, non-invasive measures of belly fat (called LAP and VAI) are linked to higher cardiovascular risk. The goal is to find easier ways to identify patients who need early heart care.
