First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study will observe 400 adults with sepsis (a severe infection) who need medication to keep their blood pressure up. Researchers will check their heart function and blood vessel health within the first 72 hours. The goal is to see if certain patterns of heart and blood vessel problems are linked to survival one year later. This research does not test a new treatment but aims to help doctors better manage sepsis in the future.
