First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study will observe 400 adults with sepsis and unstable blood pressure to learn how their heart and blood vessels are affected. Participants will have heart ultrasounds, blood tests, and circulation checks within 72 hours of hospital admission. The main goal is to see if different patterns of heart and blood vessel problems are linked to death within one year. This research does not test a new treatment but aims to help doctors better personalize care for sepsis patients in the future.
