First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new replacement heart valve for people with severe mitral regurgitation (a leaky heart valve) who are too high-risk for open-heart surgery. The valve is delivered through a blood vessel in the leg, avoiding a large chest incision. The study will enroll 10 participants to check if the procedure is safe and works as intended.
