First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how the body reacts during severe heart failure complicated by cardiogenic shock, a life-threatening condition where the heart can't pump enough blood. Researchers will measure markers of inflammation and blood vessel health in 26 adults to better understand the disease process. The goal is not to test a treatment, but to gather knowledge that could lead to better care in the future.
