Summary
This study compares a low-dose combination of prednisone and methotrexate to the standard higher-dose prednisone for people with active cardiac sarcoidosis—a condition where inflammation damages the heart. About 194 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The goal is to see if the lower-dose combo works just as well to control the disease while causing fewer side effects and improving quality of life.
