New imaging methods could sharpen radiation targeting for heart condition

NCT ID NCT06938074

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests new MRI and CT imaging methods to better identify scar tissue in the heart that causes a dangerous fast heartbeat called ventricular tachycardia (VT). About 15 adults with VT and heart disease will get these scans. The goal is to see if the scans can clearly show the scar and help doctors plan safe, precise radiation treatments without needing invasive procedures.
