Massive asian study aims to perfect the 'When to stop CPR' decision

NCT ID NCT05545176

Summary

This study aims to test and create better guidelines for emergency responders on when to stop CPR attempts for patients who suffer a cardiac arrest outside the hospital. It will involve reviewing data from 140,000 cases across Asia to see if rules developed in Western countries work well there, given differences in emergency services and patient characteristics. The goal is to help medical teams make more accurate and culturally appropriate decisions about continuing or ending resuscitation efforts.
