First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether adding the chemotherapy drug carboplatin to standard treatment can help men with a fast-growing type of prostate cancer that has spread. The cancer must have a BRCA gene mutation or show neuroendocrine features. About 330 men will receive either standard therapy alone or standard therapy plus carboplatin. The goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth longer.
