Scientists test One-Shot cell therapy to reset the immune system in autoimmune patients

NCT ID NCT06775912

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new type of cell therapy called RD06-05 for people with active autoimmune diseases. The therapy involves modifying a patient's own immune cells (CAR-T cells) to target and remove harmful immune cells, aiming to reset the immune system. The main goal is to check if this one-time treatment is safe and tolerable, while also looking for early signs that it might help control diseases like lupus, multiple sclerosis, and scleroderma.
