Scientists hunt for genetic clues to dangerous CAR-T side effect

NCT ID NCT06630104

Summary

This study aims to understand why many patients develop low blood cell counts after receiving CAR-T therapy for certain blood cancers. Researchers will collect genetic and tissue samples from patients before and after treatment to look for inherited or acquired gene changes linked to this common side effect. The goal is to identify which patients are at higher risk so doctors can better monitor and manage them.
