First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This phase 1 trial is testing a CAR-T cell therapy called axicabtagene ciloleucel in 20 adults with HIV and aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back or not responded to treatment. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to recognize and attack cancer cells. The study aims to see if this approach is safe and feasible for people living with HIV.
