Supercharged immune cells tested in fight against tough leukemia

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new type of CAR T-cell therapy for people with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that has come back or hasn't responded to other treatments. Doctors will collect a patient's own immune cells, modify them in a lab to better target cancer, and then infuse them back. The main goal is to see how safe this new therapy is and what side effects it might cause.
