Scientists supercharge Patient's own cells to hunt blood cancers

Summary
This early-phase study is testing a new type of treatment called CAR-T cell therapy for adults with advanced B-cell blood cancers that have returned or not responded to standard treatments. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, genetically modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to find a safe dose, see how long the modified cells last in the body, and check for any early signs that the treatment might help control these cancers.
