Summary
This study is testing a new cell therapy, originally developed for cancer, for people with severe autoimmune diseases that haven't responded to standard treatments. It uses modified immune cells (CAR-T) from umbilical cord blood to try to reset the body's faulty immune system. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe for patients with conditions like lupus affecting the kidneys, systemic sclerosis, and Sjogren's syndrome with lung complications.
