Immune cell therapy shows promise for Tough-to-Treat lupus

Summary
This study tests a new treatment for adults with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard therapies. Doctors will use a person's own immune cells, modified to target specific lupus-driving cells (CD19 or BCMA), and give them back as a one-time infusion. The goal is to control the disease and achieve remission by 24 weeks, while closely monitoring safety.
