Doctors probe heart risks of revolutionary cancer therapy

NCT ID NCT06350994

Summary

This study aims to understand if CAR-T cell therapy, a powerful new cancer treatment, might affect heart function in the first few days after patients receive it. Researchers will follow 60 patients with blood cancers, performing heart ultrasounds before and shortly after their CAR-T treatment. The goal is to measure how often heart changes occur and if they are linked to other common treatment side effects.
