Scientists bank Cancer-Fighting cells for future lifesaving treatments

NCT ID NCT03226704

Summary

This study collects a person's own white blood cells to potentially make a future cancer treatment called CAR-T cell therapy. It is for children and adults (ages 3-65) with certain types of leukemia or lymphoma that have not been cured by standard treatments. The collected cells are frozen and stored so they can be used to create a personalized treatment if the person's cancer returns and they join a future CAR-T therapy trial.
