Scientists test 'Living Drug' against Tough-to-Treat abdominal cancer

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new type of cell therapy for people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. Researchers are giving patients specially engineered immune cells, called CAR-NK cells, directly into the abdomen and into a vein, along with a standard cancer drug called cetuximab. The main goal is to find the safest dose and see if this approach can help control this difficult-to-treat cancer.
