New hope for kids with untreatable autoimmune diseases

NCT ID NCT06792799

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new type of cell therapy called CAR-NK in children with severe autoimmune diseases that haven't responded to standard treatments. The goal is to see if this therapy is safe and can help control diseases like lupus and certain kidney disorders. Researchers will give modified immune cells to up to 36 children to see if they can reduce disease activity.
