NCT ID NCT07505199
First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether a new type of cell therapy, called CAR-DC, is safe for people with severe heart failure due to blocked arteries. The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target a protein called FAP that is linked to heart scarring. Fifteen adults with very weak hearts will receive the treatment and be monitored for side effects and any improvement in heart function.
