Brain scans could reveal hidden stroke risk in artery disease patients

Summary
This study looks at whether special MRI scans can help predict which people with severe narrowing of brain arteries (70-99% stenosis) are most likely to have another stroke. Participants have already had a minor stroke and are enrolled in a larger treatment trial. They will get an extra MRI at the start and after one year. The goal is to find imaging markers that could guide future treatments and improve care for this high-risk group.
