Summary

This study tests if a capsaicin 8% skin patch (made from chili peppers) can reduce chronic nerve pain in teenagers aged 12 to 17 who have had pain for over 3 months after surgery or an injury. About 46 teens will either get the real patch or a dummy patch. The main goal is to see if pain scores drop more with the real patch after 4 months.
