Summary

This study tested whether the medication Caplyta could help reduce symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD). Sixty adults with BPD took either Caplyta or a placebo pill daily for eight weeks while continuing their regular therapy. Researchers measured whether those taking Caplyta showed greater improvement in emotional regulation, impulsivity, and other BPD symptoms compared to those taking placebo.
