Eye exam could speed up diagnosis of mysterious lung scarring
NCT ID NCT07283081
Summary
This study is testing if a quick, non-invasive eye exam called capillaroscopy can help doctors diagnose the cause of a scarring lung disease faster. Researchers will give the exam to 48 adults newly diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. The goal is to see if this test helps identify cases linked to autoimmune conditions sooner, so patients can start the right treatment more quickly.
