First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a simpler, lower-cost version of IVF called CAPA in-vitro maturation (IVM) for women with infertility or those needing to preserve their eggs (e.g., before cancer treatment). Unlike standard IVF, it uses less medication and has fewer health risks. The study will enroll 100 women to see how many mature eggs can be collected.
