NCT ID NCT07268365

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether attaching a small cap to the endoscope helps doctors find and treat the source of upper gastrointestinal bleeding more quickly. About 72 adults with severe bleeding will be randomly assigned to have an endoscopy with or without the cap. The main goal is to see if the cap reduces the time needed to stop the bleeding.
