First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how high-potency cannabis affects the brain's white matter in young adults (ages 18-25) with early psychosis. Participants will take metformin daily for 6 months and undergo brain scans and questionnaires. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible for a larger trial, not to prove treatment effects.
