Cannabis vs. restless legs: First-Ever clinical trial launches

Summary

This study tests whether cannabis is a safe and practical treatment for restless legs syndrome (RLS), a condition that causes uncomfortable leg sensations and disrupts sleep. Thirty adults with moderate-to-severe RLS will receive either cannabis or a placebo for 8 weeks. Researchers will track side effects, how many people finish the study, and changes in sleep and quality of life.
