First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 42 times

Summary

This study tests whether a cannabis oil containing THC and CBD can reduce severe back or kidney pain and the need for strong painkillers. Two hundred adults with acute radicular pain will receive either cannabis oil or a placebo, and their pain and opioid use will be tracked for 24 hours. The goal is to see if cannabis offers a safer, effective option for short-term pain relief.
