Marijuana and eating disorders: new study tests if education can help

Summary
This study looks at whether teaching people with eating disorders about the risks of cannabis (marijuana) use can increase their knowledge and motivation to cut back or seek help. About 80 participants will receive standard eating disorder treatment for 20 weeks. In the first week, some will also get a lesson on cannabis risks, while others learn about poor sleep. Researchers will then compare changes in knowledge, intentions, and treatment success between the two groups.
