Could a Cannabis-Derived pill ease debilitating endometriosis pain?

NCT ID NCT06834997

Summary

This study aimed to see if a pill containing synthetic THC, the main active part of cannabis, could safely help reduce chronic pelvic pain in women with endometriosis. It was a small, early-stage trial where some participants would have received the THC pill and others a placebo for eight weeks. The main goal was to check safety and gather initial evidence to see if larger future studies would be worthwhile, but the trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
