Summary
This trial tests whether sucking lemon candy and using honey mouthwash can reduce salivary gland damage caused by radioiodine therapy for thyroid cancer. About 120 adults who have had their thyroid removed and are about to receive radioiodine will be randomly assigned to the candy-and-honey routine or standard care. The goal is to see if these simple, everyday products can lower the risk of painful gland inflammation and dry mouth.
