Breast milk or formula? new study tests donor milk for At-Risk newborns

Summary
This study looks at whether giving pasteurized donor milk (instead of standard formula) to newborns who need extra feeding helps more mothers continue breastfeeding exclusively at 4 months. The babies are at higher risk because they are small, born late preterm, or have mothers with diabetes. About 112 infants are randomly assigned to receive either donor milk or formula as a supplement during their hospital stay.
