Cancer vaccine trial offers new hope for Tough-to-Treat tumors
NCT ID NCT06202066
Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental cancer vaccine to standard chemotherapy works better than chemotherapy alone for advanced neuroendocrine tumors that have spread and are growing. The vaccine aims to train the immune system to attack cancer cells. Researchers will enroll 60 adults whose cancer has worsened despite prior treatment to compare safety and effectiveness.
